Ludhiana City Police moving towards citizen-centric policing

  • Sanjh Kendras of Police Stations have been made first nodal point of justice delivery system.
  • Sanjh Kendra of 22 Police Stations have started to work in two shifts from 8 AM to 10 PM.
  • Number of staff just doubled to facilitate people coming to the police stations. Now there will be at least 7 police officials in every Sanjh Kendra who will work in two shifts.
  • We encourage people to visit PS Sanjh Kendra for all kinds of grievance redressal.
  • Complaints and FIRs also to be lodged at Sanjh Kendra.
  • Jurisdiction of Police Stations no bar for lodging complaint or FIR.
  • Nobody will ask there to visit other police station or Sanjh Kendra in the name of Jurisdiction.
  • All Complaints to be entertained at the first meeting point only.
  • All SHOs and Sanjh Kendras have been provided new mobile numbers for the convenience of public.
  • Registration of FIR is the internal matter of police on the basis of Jurisdiction but public in general shall not face any difficulty in the name of jurisdiction.
  • They have just to approach any police station or Sanjh Kendra for grievance redressal or lodging of FIR.
  • Police Commissioner along with ADCP HQ and ACP HQ to listen to the grievances of people at the conference room of CPRC at CP office.
